The Men’s Group Leadership Program

The Men’s Group (TMG) celebrated the Saturday Leadership Academy and high school graduating seniors with college scholarships at an event attended by students, their families, friends, and TMG members.

The Saturday Leadership Academy is held over a period of 13 Saturday mornings beginning in February. The Academy enrolled 11 high school students, 6 of whom were seniors.

At the conclusion of the Academy, all students participated in a graduation program attended by their families, local elected officials, as well as community members. This year’s 6 seniors, as well as 2 seniors from 2023, were feted at the scholarship award event.

IMPACT OF SCHOLARSHIPS

Each scholarship received is a testament to the hard work, perseverance, and ambition of our seniors. These awards assist in providing resources that help bridge the gap between aspiration and opportunity and help make college dreams attainable for students.

Our students are now empowered to take the next step in their educational journey. Scholarships foster a sense of belonging; they open doors for mentorship, networking, and academic enrichment.

Gratitude To Our Supporters

Mr. Ivan Clay, TMG Alumni Chairperson, stated that TMG is privileged to recognize the achievements of the graduating seniors and applaud the doors being opened for their futures through the gift of higher education.

Clay continued, stating that scholarships are for more than financial awards; they are votes of confidence in the promise and potential of our youth. None of our student scholarships would be possible without the generosity of the competitive grants and donations TMG has received from individual donors.
